Robert Whiting, 1898-1919

Robert Whiting, son of Nelson (Frank) and Nellie Whiting, died at Langress, France at the end of World War I.  After the death of Robert's mother Nellie, he came to live with his grandparents, Isaac and Sarah Jane Whiting in Clitherall.  While in France, he wrote many letters home to them.  Robert is buried in St. Mihiel American Cemetery in Thiaucourt, France.
